About Memoriah
Memoriah is a platform for online memorials: one quiet digital place to celebrate a life, bring together funeral information and photos, and let family, friends and colleagues leave a final greeting, a candle or a memory at their own pace , without social-media noise.
In memory
Memoriah grew out of grief and love. The platform was built in memory of Enny van der Schans - Hulzenboom, the mother of Memoriah’s creator. When we looked for a calm place for memories, photos and messages from family and friends, the idea for this memorial platform took shape. Her memorial was the first on Memoriah, and remains our standard for dignity, clarity and warmth.

We want farewell and remembrance to be accessible and dignified. Everyone deserves a space that feels respectful: readable for all ages, protectable when families want privacy, and spacious enough for both silence and words. Memoriah helps bereaved families shape that space , with moderation, access control and calm design suited to grief.
Vision
Our vision is that every farewell can have its own meaningful place online: not scattered across feeds and group chats, but held in a memorial visitors can return to when they need to. We believe in working with families, funeral professionals and volunteers who support the bereaved , so technology carries the human story instead of drowning it out.
What you will find here
- A memorial page with life story, photos, funeral and livestream information, and room for rituals such as a candle.
- Memories and comments that , when the family wishes , can be reviewed first so the page stays safe and appropriate.
- Options for loved ones to control what is public, who can view the page, and how family can help alongside central administration.
- Connection to professionals in bereavement and funeral care via the Support directory, for those who need extra help.
Who is Memoriah for?
- Families who want to add a stable link to a condolence card or invitation
- People who want to take part in a farewell or condolence from a distance
- Anyone who wants a lasting, browsable place for stories and photos
- Anyone preparing a page in advance , for example without a death date until that becomes relevant
Memoriah is deliberately understated: generous whitespace, soft brand colours (slate grey and warm gold) and typography that balances readability with dignity.
